Technical/Viewing Issues and Possible Solutions Q: I am having problems viewing the cartoons...What can I do? A: Well,
I am glad you asked that! Here at the Angry Alien HQ, all
I want is for you to be able to view my stuff. It is a wide world
of hardware and software and connectivity and etc.
that
we
live in,
and various
technical
issues may arise as a result. Let's investigate some common problems
and
potential
solutions. Come on! - If the page comes up, but you cannot view the cartoon file itself: a) Do you see a blank white square where the cartoon should be? You might need the most recent Flash player/browser plugin. If you already have the most recent version, then the file may be downloading slowly due to your connection speed. If you connect at a high speed (such as a LAN or DSL connection) and you still don't see anything, try clearing your browser's cache, and then refresh the page. Download
the most recent Flash player here: b) Do
you see a Quicktime icon, or a broken Quicktime icon, where the
cartoon should be? This
may mean you need to open your browser's preferences and designate Macromedia
Flash (instead of Quicktime) as the application which allows you
to view a .swf (Shockwave Flash) file. This
link may be helpful: If all else fails, send me a very specific bug report with DETAILS (are you on a Mac or PC? What operating system? What browser are you using? What specific error message are you receiving? What isn't showing up, the page or the cartoon file? etc.) With this data I can better attempt to pinpoint your problem. Bye for now, and thanks!
